Kathryn Nguyen Ramos was born and raised among a tight-knit Vietnamese community in Vancouver, WA. She was one of the first people in her entire family to be born in the USA and much of her upbringing was spent in immersion schools in southwest Washington/northwest Portland. Many of her family members own a business in some area of real estate (her mother is an investor, her cousins are real estate brokers, and her uncles are contractors) so naturally, she gravitated towards a career in relation to real estate that would highlight her strengths in communication, paying attention to detail, and building relationships.
A creative thinker, culinary enthusiast, trained musician, and wanderer at heart, Kathryn enjoys traveling the world to learn of different cultures. Her other interests include history and architecture (in other words, if you have an open spot on your team for trivia night, she's your girl!). She met her husband in 2011 and married into a Hispanic family that inspired her to spend the past near-decade absorbing Mexican traditions, learning to cook authentic Mexican cuisine (there's no recipe like Mom's or Grandma's recipe!), and of course- learning to speak Spanish. Kathryn is also involved with IRCO, a non-profit organization that provides assistance and resources to underserved communities in the greater Portland metropolitan area.
She, her husband, and their toddler son currently reside in Vancouver, WA. with their two dogs.
